I have been actively taking pictures since high school. My interest with photography started much younger than that though; as a child I was often found outside with a disposable camera snapping away. Since then the pictures may have gotten a bit better, but the desire to take them has stayed the same.
Here is a little about my life outside of photography; I was born and raised in Michigan, the majority of my life in a small town near Jackson. After living in Biloxi, Mississippi for a year I returned north to live in Ypsilanti and finish up school. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in elementary education, but my ultimate plan is to teach Philosophy at a Collegiate level. I also work as a track and field coach for The University of Detroit Mercy. I specialize in coaching the decathlon and the pole vault. I am also a former Guinness World Record holder.
